This uniform policy is designed to provide students with a sense of identity as Saint Boniface students while promoting Christian modesty and decency. Uniforms are required for Pre K-3 through 6th grade. Toddlers are not required to wear uniforms.
Pants and Belt:
Navy blue or khaki, long or short pants are required. Cargo style pants or shorts are not permitted. Several online companies carry pants and shorts that meet the standard. A belt is required and must be plain black, brown, or navy leather.
Solid white or red shirts, either polo (recommended) or dress style are appropriate. Authorized Saint Boniface emblem may be embroidered on the left side over the heart. Shirts may also be plain white or red, with no emblem. White and red shirts are available at most stores that sell children’s clothes.
Boys will have a conservative style hair cut that is above the collar of the uniform shirt and above the eyebrows and ears. No long hair or fad style hair or hair coloring is allowed.
Pants, Skirts and Belts:
Navy blue or khaki, long or short pants or skirts are required. Saint Boniface red plaid shorts are acceptable and are available from Parker Uniforms and from Especially for You. Blue shorts or bloomers should be worn under skirts. A solid black, brown, or navy leather belt must be worn with slacks, shorts and skirts with belt loops. No woven, designer, or fad type belts are acceptable.
Navy blue, khaki, or Saint Boniface plaid, (available through Parker Uniforms and Especially for You), are acceptable. Blue shorts or bloomers should be worn under jumpers.
Solid white or red polo style shirts are preferred. Other white blouses are acceptable if they have collars, are solid white, and button down the front. Authorized Saint Boniface emblem may be embroidered on the left side over the heart. Shirts may also be plain white or red, with no emblem. White and red shirts are available at most stores that sell children’s clothes.
Skorts of navy blue, khaki, or Saint Boniface plaid may be worn.
Girls may wear hairstyles appropriate for their age. No hair coloring or extreme styles will be permitted. Hair must be such that students can concentrate on their work without hair hanging in their face.
No makeup, including fingernail polish, should be worn.
Shoes and Socks:
Shoes should be either a dress style or athletic style. Tennis shoes should be worn on days when students have P.E. classes. No boots, flip flops, sandals or Crocs are allowed. Socks should be navy or white. Tights (for girls) may be solid navy or white.
Sweatshirts and T-Shirts:
Uniform sweaters (either solid navy, white, or red cardigans) or Saint Boniface sweatshirts, not coats or jackets, are to be worn in the classrooms during school hours. Navy blue, gray or red hooded sweatshirts that zip are allowed in the classroom. Saint Boniface T-shirts in navy, gray or red may be worn on Thursdays.
No jewelry is allowed, with the exception of religious medals or crucifixes on necklaces and small stud-type earrings. Watches may be worn, provided they are inconspicuous and without alarms, which would be disturbing to the class.
Free Dress Days:
Clothing worn on free dress days should be in good taste. NO spaghetti straps, tank tops, bare midriffs, short shorts, spandex or bicycle shorts, or t-shirts with inappropriate wording/advertising are allowed.
