Announcements

Lent will begin on Ash Wednesday, 2/22.  We will celebrate Mass at 8:15 a.m.  During all of the Wednesdays during Lent, we will be silent in the cafeteria.  If you join your child on Wednesdays, we ask that you also make this Lenten sacrifice.  On Ash Wednesday and all of the Fridays during Lent, we will abstain from eating meat.  We ask that if you send your child's lunch on those days, you do not include meat, but instead choose another form of protein such as peanut butter.  Thanks!

Our 6th grade class leadership project is gearing up for one final push.  From February 21 -- March 2, classes in grades K--6 will have a can collecting competition.  Whichever class brings in the most cans will have an ice cream party.  Each day the 6th grade students will gather and measure the cans.  The money collected will be used for a 6th grade field trip and donation to Heifer International.  Please help us help the students learn that no person is too young to help someone else.  Thanks in advance for supporting our project!

SBCS is considering a change in mascot. One popular suggestion so far is the "St. Boniface Saints." If you have a suggestion for a new mascot, or if you have a suggestion for the visual representation of the "Saints," please contact the school office!
